Hard to believe we are in our final term of P3! We’ve been enjoying getting outside for PE in the lovely weather to start preparations for sports day. Thank you to everyone who was able to send in or email a baby photo, we’ve had really productive discussions around these to show how we have overcome so many challenges in our lives already, and, that we all have the power within us to persevere and overcome new challenges. We are really enjoying working with our maths buddies from p7 once a week. We are looking forward to starting our new learning related to food and farming. To see what else we have been learning so far, and will be continuing to learn this term, please read through our plan below.

The second term of P3 was, as always, very busy with lots of fantastic learning. The pupils particularly enjoyed comparing and contrasting celebrations from around the world and from different religions. Term 3 is now well underway and the pupils are really enjoying learning about Edinburgh and its history, particularly enjoying learning that our city is based around an extinct volcano. We really enjoyed hearing all the Scots poetry performed to celebrate Burns day, thank you for all the support you gave your child in learning their poem. The children were also very creative in translating a variety of different Scots poems. To see what we have been learning so far, and will be continuing to learn this term, please read through our plan below.
