SESSION 2 – Monday 28th November 2016
This week the children used a variety of techniques, to make chocolate truffles, including mixing, measuring and rolling a mixture into small balls. Once their truffles had been coated in coconut (optional) they popped their truffles into a decorative sweet bag to take away!

SIMPLE CHEESE TOASTIE
In our first session we discussed and learned the importance of hygiene and safety in the kitchen. We also talked about some simple steps that we take before, during and after food preparation.

The children then had the opportunity to make their own cheese toastie. The children used simple cooking techniques such as spreading, filling and toasting.
The children really enjoyed the experience and enjoyed their cheese toastie.
